7 weeks
All the puppies are doing great, and are very active now! Although they are all still living with us, 4 of the puppies have new homes, and 5 are still waiting to find a home. The puppies can go to live at their new homes this Friday! The puppies we have left are 1 black male, and 1 black female, and 3 gold females. They are all so cute and it is hard for people to choose which pup to take! But whatever puppy you choose, we are sure will bring lots of happiness to your home. Let us know if you are interested in a puppy, or if you know anyone who might be. We just want all the puppies to go to caring and loving homes. We will be updating with pictures of the puppies to choose from soon. Please stay posted for updates.

6 Weeks
The puppies are growing so fast! They are very adventurous, and love to play outside. They spend their time out of their kennel exploring the world. They scamper around, and enjoy playing in water, chewing on sticks, wrestling with each other, and exploring every part of the world that they see. They are so fun to watch! Now that the time is drawing closer for them to find their own homes, we are getting kind of sad. But, we are happy to know that they will be moving on to good homes. If you know anyone interested in a puppy, and would make a good parent to one of our adorable bunch, please forward this link to them.

Week 4
I'm a little behind with the post this week, and week 4 is almost complete. This week I saw some great developmental advancements - a fancy way of saying the puppies are growing fast! The puppies now have their puppy teeth, and enjoy sharpening their little teeth by chewing on things. Being that Scudder does not like the new puppy teeth at feeding time, I've been substituting Science Diet Puppy food, soaked in water, a few times throughout the day. As evident by the increased size of these puppies, they are certainly eating well!
The puppies have increased their speed, and developed a sense of curiosity; it's fun to watch them experience things for the first time. Now that the puppies are at the half way point from being able to part from mom, we decided to start marketing the puppies for sale. We have 2 males (black), and 6 females (4 yellow, 2 black) to choose from. All puppies come with a liter certificate, showing the 3 generations back starting with mom and dad, and AKC registration papers. Male puppies are $300; female puppies are $350. You can schedule a time to view and reserve your puppy to day by e-mailing me at troythetechguy@gmail.com

Week 3
We are now three weeks along, and the fun is beginning to start! This week the puppies went from wobbling to walking, and the are now stable (except when Scudder accidentally knocks one over) and gaining speed. All the puppies look healthy and are continuing to grow. Along with growing, each puppy is developing a personality, and all the puppies are beginning to speak.
I included a picture of the puppies dad (Gunner) and mom (Scudder) in this post. Gunnar's dad is Elk River's Hot Frankie, a multiple AKC Hunting Test Title Holder, including Master Hunter! Coming from a great hunting line, these pups will make excellent hunters, or great lovable family dogs. Reserve your puppy today. Contact Troy for more information at troythetechguy@gmail.com

2 Weeks
We are officially at the 2 week mark today! Just yesterday, some of the puppies started to open their eyes. I also noticed a few of the puppies are starting to walk, but only make it a few steps before falling down. All the puppies are doing well, and there does not appear to be a "runt of the litter".
Yesterday, I moved Scudder and the puppies to the garage. I added another story to their whelping box so as they get bigger they'll remain confined to their area.
Scudder is still doing great with the pups, and continues to like more and more time away from the puppies.
As the pups are now only 6 weeks away from their departure date, be sure to reserve your pick of the litter today. Contact Troy at troythetechguy@gmail.com for more information and to reserve your puppy.

1 Week
It is now 1 week since Scudder had her puppies. As you can see from this picture, being a mother is exhausting work! Scudder is doing a great job, and is at the point where she enjoys some time away from the pups - or as I say, some adult interaction.
All the puppies are growing rapidly and gaining a fair amount of weight. Although the puppies are easy to take care of right now, I have my work cut out for me in the coming weeks as the puppies learn how to walk and yip!
